Reel Ridge Goldens makes the health, welfare and quality of each puppy a top priority.  Each of our Super Pups (see Super Dog Program) are vet checked and certified free of communicable disease or genetic disorders.

Failure to perform Buyer Agreements voids all Seller guarantees & agreements.

​

1) Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined, within 3 days of receipt of the dog, by a licensed veterinarian. (Schedule this required appointment several weeks before the expected receipt date to ensure you are within the 3 day timing)

 

2) Buyer agrees to provide a healthy and safe environment, including exercise & nutrition, proper for a retriever puppy.

3) Buyer agrees to continue all vaccines and vet care recommended by their veterinarian.

​

4) Seller agrees, if during the Buyer's original 1st 3 day vet exam that the puppy is found to have a serious health problem, the Seller will replace the puppy or refund the price paid by the buyer (excluding shipping costs, vet bills or any other related expenses). To qualify, the Buyer must provide a letter of the serious health issue provided by the initial 3 day licensed vet, within 3 days of the initial examination, along with the pup to the Seller.  Seller reserves the right to verify the diagnosis with a vet of Seller's choice.

5) A serious health problem does not include mites, fleas, worms, giardia, coccidiosis or any other parasites.  In most cases, these are easily treated and common to puppies.

         NOTE: Do not let your puppy into pet parks, rest stop areas or similar pet prone areas until your your puppy completes all vaccinations.  These areas harbor disease & parasites and are not safe to non-fully vaccinated puppies.  Parasites can be present at any location at any time.  The buyer must continue ongoing vet recommended worming and parasite treatments to maintain continued parasite control.

6) Reel Ridge Goldens completes our due diligence in raising genetically healthy pups,  including health screenings and proper nutrition.  Once a puppy leaves Sellers custody, we can not control environmental factors that also affect health.  These include improper nutrition, poor weight maintenance, lack of exercise and other such factors.  Hip, elbow and joint health & integrity depend on both genetics and environmental factors.  The Seller has no control over such environmental factors and does not guarantee against joint issues or hip dysplasia.

7) Seller is not responsible for reactions to vaccinations, medications, or any other outcome outside of the Seller's control.  Seller is not responsible for loss related to theft, accidental death, sickness or any other loss outside of the Seller's control.

8) Seller guarantees the puppy from congenital defects that result in death or required euthanasia until 1 YEAR of life.  Written cause of death from a licensed veterinarian is required.

​

9) Seller guarantees the puppy from heart murmur of grade 5/6 or 6/6 until 1 YEAR of life.  The heart murmur diagnosis must be validated and written by a licensed canine cardiologist and supplied to the Seller.

10) If the buyer is unable or unwilling to provide the required care for the puppy, it will be returned to the Seller.  The buyer will not give the puppy to a shelter, rescue, or other entity or person without prior permission of the seller.

11) In the event a Buyer returns a puppy due to a condition covered by this guarantee, the Seller will replace the pup with a pup from a current or future litter and will be of the same value as the original purchase price (not including any shipping, vet expenses or any other expenses).

12) ITEMS THAT ALSO VOID ANY SELLER GUARANTEES or AGREEMENTS:

      a. Any indications of abuse or neglect

      b. Trauma or injury occurring outside of Sellers care

      c. Not fully completing all required or recommended vet visits and

          preventative programs

      d. No professional proof of diagnosis or treatment

      e. Change of puppy ownership

      f.  If the puppy is allowed to become underweight or overweight

      g. If the puppy is bred

 

 No monetary re-funds will be available after 3 days following the required 1st 3 day Buyer vet exam.

Seller Guarantees & Agreements are non-transferable.
